Mckingtorch Africa is a legally registered social enterprise that focuses on environmental sustainability and plastic waste management. Their work revolves around several key pillars, including influencing climate policies, circularity and plastic waste management policies, product and service innovations from plastic waste, global institutional research partnerships, recycling & upcycling training programs, public space installations from waste, sustainability advocacy, plastic waste recovery services, community and beach waste recovery and art installations from plastic waste. Since 2018, they have recycled over 100 tons of plastic waste and conducted research projects with academic institutions projects across different countries.
